Kita in Berlin – Kinderhaus Kipsi

We are a blilingual Montessori Children's House

The Montessori Children’s House Kipsi is centrally located at the Bundesplatz S-Bahn and U-Bahn station and in the immediate vicinity of the Volkspark.

Opening hours are from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Fridays from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

There are 50 children in mixed-age groups from 3 to school age.

The children play and learn in a German-English speaking environment. They are in constant contact with our bilingual staff and are thus introduced to the foreign language in a playful way.

Our employees are Montessori teachers or are currently in training.

The hot lunch is delivered by an organic caterer. Parents bring breakfast from home. Drinks, fruit and snacks are available to the children at the Kinderhaus.

Our premises

In our Montessori Children’s House, the rooms are designed to suit the size and physical needs of the children.

They are designed so that everyone can pursue their interests individually or in groups. There is a wide range of play and work materials to choose from.

On 150 square meters we have spacious areas for free work, building, painting and handicrafts.

An exercise room is available to the children if required, and they can also retreat to a cuddle or book corner to relax.

Our daily routine

The daily routine in the morning is determined by free work.

Before lunch, we get together in a circle and discuss current issues, read, make music and have fun together.

After lunch, we go out into the fresh air. The nearby playgrounds in the Volkspark invite children to move and play.

Finally, the kindergarten day ends harmoniously with a snack and games together.

On Mondays, we regularly go to a nearby gym to do sports. Friday is our excursion day: we go to the theater, a museum or a forest excursion together. We also like to visit each other at home.
