From 1 August 2024, parents with a registered address in Brandenburg will no longer have to pay contributions for the care of their children aged 3 and over in Brandenburg kindergartens. See the press release from the state of Brandenburg.
We will be happy to advise you on how the income-related contributions for parents of children under 3 years of age are scaled.
Daycare centre places for families from Berlin are also subsidised on the basis of the Berlin-Brandenburg State Treaty. This means that we require a valid day-care centre voucher (part-time or all-day care) from your local district authority in order to accept your child.
If you are interested in a place for your child at one of our day-care centers (Maria Montessori called this environment Casa dei Bambini – Children’s House), please apply by completing the application form.
If we are able to offer your child a place, the management of your chosen Children’s House will contact you directly to arrange an appointment for an introductory meeting.

Our day care centre
Our premises
Our large, light-flooded rooms are spread over three floors and are specially designed to meet the needs, size and strength of the children.
Here, every child can pursue their interests individually or in groups and choose from a wide range of play and ‘work materials’. We have plenty of space to be active.
Even those who need some peace and quiet will find their place here at the ‘Starke Kinder’ children’s centre: your child can relax wonderfully in the cosy corner or in the book corner.
The children have a playground in our spacious garden with lots of natural materials. Here they can exercise in the fresh air at any time of year and look after their own plants, for example.
The neighbouring sports hall is used regularly.
Our daily routine
The morning routine is characterised by free work.
We come together in a circle before lunch. In doing so, we live in community, pass on knowledge and support our everyday activities. We read books, make music and have fun together.
All meals are freshly prepared daily by our chef and are largely made from regional, wholesome and organic products. All drinks are unsweetened, mineral water and tea are available to the children at all times.
After lunch, the little ones can rest or take a nap.
In the early afternoon, we go out into the fresh air, into the garden, into the small forest or we visit the nearby gym. We end the day at the crèche with refreshments and a game.

Our premises
Toddlers are particularly open, interested and ready to learn skills. They absorb impressions from their environment with all their senses and process them primarily emotionally, not cognitively.
By setting up a special toddler area, we are catering for the special needs of children at this stage of development.
A well-prepared environment is particularly helpful for the youngest children and begins with a well thought-out room layout.
The rooms are tailored to the needs and developmental stage of the children and support their independence. The presence of stable carers is another important factor in the children’s well-being.
Our daily routine
From 8.00 to 10.30 a.m., the children can have breakfast (including a fruit snack), play freely and be inspired by the early musical education programme. Many other creative activities are possible.
From 10.30 to 11.30 a.m. we spend time with the little ones in our garden where possible. Here they have the opportunity to explore their environment and nature and play with their friends.
From 11.30 a.m. we eat lunch together in the group room. The children can rest or sleep in a separate room at any time, according to their needs.
We offer a snack in the afternoon and drinks are served throughout the day.
