  • You have several years of professional experience in operational accounting and controlling and also understand accounting data as a basis for business decisions
  • You are proactive, open and communicative.

  • You work in partnership with our tax advisor and the Senate Administration
  • You enjoy communicating with non-specialists such as childcare centre managers and getting them on board from a business management perspective
  • You have very good MS Office skills, especially in Excel and in common accounting programmes. Experience with the Simba software would be an advantage

 


Your tasks:

  • Responsibility for the preparation of meaningful monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in a team with our long-standing accountant, whom you will guide
  • Monitoring of payment transactions and dunning procedures
  • Further development of accounting routines and digitalisation
  • “PLUS”: financial planning, controlling and documentation of processes
  • Supporting the management in financial management by providing business analyses and recommendations for action
  • Accounting and auditing of public grants and subsidies
  • Clarification of commercial law and tax issues in close cooperation with external partners

Your tasks:

  • You will ensure a smooth daily routine in our administration office and act as the first point of contact at reception and on the telephone for guests, employees and suppliers.
  • You will support the management in day-to-day business, e.g. in coordinating appointments, organising smaller events such as invitation management and monitoring compliance with deadlines.
  • You will relieve the team of administrative tasks such as processing mail or purchasing consumables.

The International Montessori School Berlin offers pupils in grades 1-6 the best conditions for starting school life. Around 120 children learn according to the principles of the reform pedagogue Maria Montessori. They spend the school day in the bilingual language centre – the best conditions for learning German and English. As an open all-day school, we offer education and care from 7.30 am to 6 pm. Our state-recognised primary school is located in the historic Landhaus Oppenheim, approx. 5 minutes from Wannsee railway station.
The Kipsi Montessori children’s centre is centrally located at the Bundesplatz S-Bahn and U-Bahn station and in the immediate vicinity of Volkspark.
