Whether you are an educational specialist, teacher, career changer, trainee, administrator, cleaner or housekeeper: our team of around 100 employees looks forward to meeting you.

Our facilities range from children’s houses with 30 children or more to children’s houses with up to 100 children and the International Montessori School Berlin, which currently has 120 school places. Many, but not all, of our centres work bilingually in German and English. You will find us in Potsdam OT Groß Glienicke and in the Berlin districts of Steglitz-Zehlendorf, Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf, Tempelhof-Schöneberg and Lichtenberg.

Our administration is located in the immediate vicinity of Steglitz town hall. Cleaners and tradespeople work in our facilities in Potsdam OT Groß Glienicke and in the Berlin districts of Steglitz-Zehlendorf, Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf, Tempelhof-Schöneberg and Lichtenberg.

In addition, we need the following certificates and documents at the latest at the time of recruitment:

- School contract and school certificate (for trainees)

- Proof of a valid measles vaccination or measles immunity
- Proof of current first aid training for children
- Extended police clearance certificate
And what happens next?
Once your application has been checked, the HR team will contact you to arrange an initial telephone interview. The purpose of the interview is to get to know you – please feel free to tell us about your personal interests, skills and passions. We will also introduce Montessori & Friends Education gGmbH as an employer and discuss possible work locations. Please allow about 30 minutes for this interview.
Are you interested in a position in one of our Montessori daycare centres?
After the phone call, your documents will be forwarded to the respective childcare centre management. Our manager will contact you to arrange an appointment for a work shadowing session. On this day, you will have the opportunity to get to know the centre, the management, the team and the children. This is an opportunity to observe our work according to Maria Montessori and to ask any questions you may have about our educational work.
In the final step of the application process, we will discuss all contractual conditions and your start with us. For this we need the above-mentioned proof of your qualifications and previous work experience.
